John Lee is founder and publisher of The TRADE
Limited, the London-based publisher of The TRADE, The TRADE Asia, The TRADETech
Daily and daily news site www.thetradenews.com. He is responsible for the
strategic direction of the company, maintaining its market leadership in the
coverage of global equities trading, as well as driving new product development.
As publisher of The TRADE and a member of the advisory board of TradeTech, John
regularly chairs and speaks at industry conferences throughout Europe and Asia.
John is also co-founder of writing and research
consultancy Information Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of The TRADE, which
produces Dialogue magazine and Sibos Issues on behalf of the Society for
Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT).
Prior to this, John was a co-founder and publisher
of GSCS Benchmarks, the leading European global custody title, and was also a
co-founder and director of Financial-i, Global Transactions magazine and Capital
Horizons, which focused on emerging markets investment. He has written for The
FT and The Sunday Times, amongst others, and has authored and edited books on
global custody and the UK financial services market.
John has a MSc. in international relations and has
lectured in international economy at the London School of Economics.
